Jim Beam and Coke Jell-O Shots
First off, an apology to my readers in the delay of this post. Between an amazing wedding on the cape, some long weekend, and just being too tired, I was sort of off the grid for a while in terms of my blogging…but, enough with the excuses. This week’s Jell-O shot is sort of a twist on the rum and coke ones I did not too long ago. Those seemed to be a favorite so I figured why not take it to the next level…only this time, I happened to see mini red solo cups and decided they would be more ‘fun’ to use than the usual salad dressing cups. Plus, it was Memorial Day weekend and the cookouts always involve red solo cups so it seemed pretty perfect. Anyway, without further delay, I give you the Jim Beam and Coke Jell-O Shots…
Jim Beam and Coke
1 package black cherry Jell-O
1 cup Coke (boiled)
1 cup Jim Beam
Bring the coke to a boil…be sure that it is actually boiling and not just bubbling from the carbonation. Once boiled add the coke to the Jell-O and stir until dissolved. Let sit for a minute and then add the cup of Jim Beam and stir again. Pour into the shot glasses and place in the refrigerator to solidify.
Cheers!
